This is a medical training project focused on simulating the C-section surgical procedure in virtual reality to support learning and skill development in the medical field.

Behind the Scene:

Iā€™m proud to be part of a dynamic team behind this project a group of close friends who bring diverse skills to the table. Our team includes a medical expert, a full-stack developer, a product/UI designer, a unity developer and myself as a 3D artist. Together, we co-founded Seede XR, an incorporated start-up focused on building immersive tech solutions like this VR medical training simulation.

  • 2022 ā€“ Demo

    • Created the pregnant woman 3D model using MakeHuman.
    • Designed and animated the character in Blender for use in VR.
    • šŸ† The project won 1st place among African countries in ARVRAfrica Hackathon 2022.

  • 2023 ā€“ MVP

    • Contributed various environment props such as scalpels, retractors, bedsheets and e.t.c.
    • Continued working on character models and animations using MakeHuman and Blender.

  • 2024 ā€“ Update

    • Designed and modeled a new hospital environment to improve simulation realism and interactivity.
